Setting anisotropic filtering ingame problem
//anisotropic filtering settings saving if(anisotropicfilter==true){ PlayerPrefs.SetInt("Anisotropic Filtering", 1); QualitySettings.anisotropicFiltering.Enable; } else{ PlayerPrefs.SetInt("Anisotropic Filtering", 0); QualitySettings.anisotropicFiltering.Disable;
}
so i have this snippet here from a bigger piece of code that saves settings in playerprefs and applies em etc etc. It worked fine for enabling/disabling the soft vegetations so the structure aint the problem. Im getting THIS error
BCE0034: Expressions in statements must only be executed for their side-effects.
What does it mean and how do i solve it
it basicly was 2 same errors happening at the QualitySettings.anisotropicFiltering.Disable;
and the QualitySettings.anisotropicFiltering.Enable; line

Your issue is that you are calling those 2 lines as if they are methods, they are actually properties and should be declared.
Example:
QualitySettings.anisotropicFiltering = AnisotropicFiltering.Disable;
Cheers.
