Terrain Detail Glitch - World Machine Import

Okay so yesterday I was working on some terrain for a game for my friend. I made all of his terrain exactly the same way that I made mine. Settings the same, etc. Obviously a little different in design so I don't make the same game. But when I imported his terrain heightmap into unity on a Unity terrain plane, it appeared flawless. I could zoom out and see all of the creases and details of the terrain. I then took and added mine to my new unity project today and all of the detail is like the billboard affect and pixelizes if I get too far from the terrain. Any ideas?

Also, when I use any of the Terrain tools it shows all the detail like normal until I let go of my mouse button then it all fades away again.

Anyone? Is it Unity? or is it World $$anonymous$$achine that makes my map do this?
