Remove information bar in Android build
I've seen some apps without this top BLUE bar and ICON that are made in unity free so, how should I go about removing it?
Note: I'm pretty new to unity. Note2: Sorry about the title. Note3: Sorry about the repost.
Why did I repost? Because my previous thread was stuck like this for too long:

In that pending post I had given you the answer below, as Screenname_taken has given you this time. Its a common question and a simple google search would have shown you both the answer below and that a change in the Android $$anonymous$$anifest would do the same thing.
I've never seen this screen in any of my builds. I think this is because I added Icons and a Splash screen. Even in Free I get Powered by Unity screen and not what is shown above.
To dissect the above screen you would need to export the project to Eclipse and modify it from there.
That doesn't change the fact that there is a black screen there. All It did was hide everything and not remove it.
I wish to remove the BLUE BAR and ICON, NOT the status bar.

Remove information bar in Android build
So explain EXACTLY what it is you want to happen :D
I assumed that if I removed the information bar, everything would go away and It would skip right to the whole made with unity thing.
I really don't know how to explain this because I don't understand it enough but, lets assume that the black area before the made with unity screen is a scene, I simply wish to remove the scene so I never have to see it.

Go to Build Settings --> Player Settings, then Resolution and Presentation, and tick the Status Bar Hidden box.

I might add, this is from a simple Google Search
I already looked into that but it looked complicated and I was wondering if there was another way.
lol man, don't run from something because it looks complicated. Sounds like you are afraid of learning :P
Its easy. Just add the line of code to your android manifest file.
It seems this is the only way. What I don't understand is why only some people get this problem.
It doesn't look that simple as adding a single line of code.
That's because you are looking at the page as a whole :P
Bite the bullet, go through it line by line. Work through as you go rather than reading and trying to understand it.
