What do you mean 'applicable'? The manual is essential. If you mean 'can I build my Unity project for Android pretty much the same as I did for iPhone' then, yes. You need to install the Android SD$$anonymous$$ (like you had to have XCode for $$anonymous$$ac), and the Android license (like you had to have iOS license), but Android doesn't cost anything, and you can install it on any device and it doesn't expire and you don't need to renew any certificates or register anything. In short, less trouble to do Android.
