Unity GUI and Game Object.
Hi!
I used to make script for a window and some controls and assign to one gameobject.
But in GUI frameworks like EZ GUI, iGUI, each control is implemented with one GameObject.
It means creating one GUI control refers to creating one GameObject.
In that case, if i try to create many controls, doesn't it affect to performance or memory due to creating gameobject?
Regards.

How many controls do you intend to create? Basically, there is no problem having a huge number of simple GameObjects in your scene.
I am going to make general desktop program, and I only want to compare performance between creating a control by a GameObject(≻ript) and a control by a script only. I estimated with EZGUI, iGUI and when I make a gameobject for a control, working set bytes is getting high. Am I wrong?
