Having trouble tiling a shader over a plane instead of stretching
I'm new to Unity and am building onto the "Roll a Ball" tutorial provided on this website. I have downloaded some grass texture assets and am trying to apply them to the planes that the ball rolls on top of. However when I apply them to a plane that is scaled, say at, (x=4,y=1,z=1), the surface is stretched and distorted. I have looked at maybe 20 similar questions but none have helped me. How do make the textures tile or repeat correctly?
Did you try the Tiling properties? http://docs.unity3d.com/$$anonymous$$anual/class-$$anonymous$$aterial.html
Yes, I have played with those and found short term success, but then if I apply the same shader to a different plane of a different scale, it will be distorted there. What would you suggest to that?
i would suggest using a different shader for that with different tiling
