Game runs painfully slow in Unity
All I have in my game is a gun that shoots bullets (they destroy on collision) three untextured boxes, a skybox and a textured "arena" type structure. That's hardly anything but when I try to play the game, it runs REALLY slow. My computer is a decent speed. I tried closing the program and restarting it but it didn't do anything. Help?
If you are shooting a lot of bullets, use raycasting ins$$anonymous$$d of collision detection
well, it doesn't sound like a gpu issue. Probably bad code is the culprit. Perhaps you are failing to close a loop or something. Post the script for better help.
(you may also try deleting the arena and skybox just to eli$$anonymous$$ate them as suspects, but unless the polycount is astronomical I doubt it...)
At what point do you start to notice it slowing down? Is it instant?
