How to transform a blender model into a ragdoll

So I want to create a ragdoll using unity with this stick figure(shown below), which I created using this tutorial.

But I think there must be an easier way than just having to create all the elbows, arms, legs, feet, etc. individually which could take a while.

So would it be possible to cut this stick figure down into individual pieces like elbows, arms, legs, head, etc. ?
