Compiling errors help?

When i click play it says "all compiling errors have to be fixed before you can enter play mode" So i open up the console and i get see loads of errors, how do i fix them?\ An example of an error i got Assets/Scripts/Seagull.js(172,32): BCE0005: Unknown identifier: 'up'. I am using the island demo provided in the old version, i am now using the new version

You will need to provide your code in order for us to help you. Although it is a default Unity project, most of the people on UA will now have updated to 3.5, which does not carry the Island Demo. Also, ins$$anonymous$$d of just telling us one of your compiler errors why not tell us all of them? We do not have the ability to quantum leap into your $$anonymous$$d, so why not help us by being more specific in your question?

Also, you say 'I am using the island demo provided in the old version, i am now using the new version' ... that seems slightly ambiguous to me.
