Need Help With Simple Player Health Damage Script
i m learning javascript from tutorials and have got myself in trouble please help me out

how do i make the amount of health show and how do i apply the damage.

Anyway, your problem is line 4 above, in playerstatus, you have a } which ends the update function but then try to do something after that. I think update should be Update also:

if (health <= 0) {
kill();
}
}
