1st person controller on third person object .js
I got the "1st person controller" to work on a third person (the 1st person camera capsule object) "graphic"
with smooth follow i can look horizontal with the mouse, move in every direction and always have the back of my character facing the camera no snap needed.
now i just need to be able to look up and look down while keeping the capsule in the camera.
any ideas?

Just tweak the pivot point so that the camera is a child of an empty 'pivot' transform at the same location as the character, which is a child of the character. Then, just rotate that pivot up and down.
Forgive me for asking, but why are you trying to adapt a first-person camera to a third-person game? There are plenty of solutions out there with specially-designed third-person cameras that will probably look a lot better.
its ok i just started coding and i'm doing copy/paste for my first game (simple game). "the third person shooter demo" is the only open source i could find so far for a certain Quake like movement and constant snap to back camera script FREE and its in C# not javascript so i got errors. -.-
