tire falling through terrain?
I am trying to make a tire barrier for a car to hit if he misses a turn. I can not buy one, or for that matter make one, so I am using one from the Car Tutorial. I added a rigid body so it could move when it was hit, but every time I would start the player to test it, the tires have fallen off the map! I have tried many things, colliders on both the tire and terrain, rigid bodies on the terrain. nothing seems to work. does anybody know what I am doing wrong?
my checklist. You have: imported with colliders, placed the tires above the ground to start with, not put the wheels on a new layer with funny settings, not got another script acting on them, not turned off colliders, reimported the model, are not rescaling the object, have checked and unchecked 'uses gravity' and playtested in both conditions? - just thought it may help...

you have to add colliders to the terrain and your tires ;) add compoment -> physics -> mesh collider <- i would suggest this one because i think its the easiest ^^ it just creates a colider based on your mesh(your 3d model)
