xcode 4 lets unity ios basic bypass forced unity splash screen
It looks like you can directly replace the splashscreen graphic in xcode 4's iphone splash screen editor. Does this mean that iOS Free/Basic users can avoid having the Unity splash screen showing each time?

Haha, I guess you could do this, but it is undoubtedly a breach of the license for iOS free/basic. It's "you can do this" in the sense that you could also rob a gas station, but that doesn't mean its legal or that others (aka Unity) will allow you to get away with it.
Is it actually part of the TOS or just a forced limitation by marketing, hoping people will shell out more $$ for pro
So I just went looking for any legal notice regarding this in the EULA and did not see anything. If anyone knows where said restriction might be, please post a link. Thanks.
This post is a little old, but I'd like to know if anyone found this prohibition in any of the legal documents for the free Unity license. I've tried looking through all the legal docs but no reference to changing the splash or launch images is ever made. I'm not doing it for now, but if I could I would like to know.

If you replace it, your apps crashes. I have tried before I knew that it was a Unity Free limitation.
actually it appears xcode 4 does not work with unity 3.3 at all
