2d collision doesn't detect properly in game
I am making a tabletop tennis game, of sorts.
The problem I seem to be having is that when the ball starts, the first time it hits a paddle it doesn't play the sound, fx, etc, but every hit thereafter it does. Once the ball goes out of bounds, a point is scored, and it is reset, the same thing happens.
First paddle struck (doesn't matter which), nothing happens. Just bounces. After that, f and sound play on subsequent strikes.
I understand how difficult this might be to troubleshoot, so I don't expect precise answers, just pointers in the right direction if you have any ideas.
All rigidbodies, colliders, etc. are 2D.
Can you give me the code you used so i can find problems in there. Because I can't understand your question completely. If you can guve the script i will understand it better
