Modify a mesh at runtime
I'm wondering if there's any existing work that's been done towards getting modifying a mesh at run-time. Basically, something like the boolean operation in 3DSMax which allows for subtracting a shape from another shape.
I'm looking at creating a 2D worms-style game, but that is rendered entirely in 3D.

procedural example in unity site is one good thing to start. and there are some tools out there in asset store i guess
