Does www.movie acccept .ogv files?
In the help it says that Ogg Theora format or .ogg files are the way to go for downloading movie streams, but what about .ogv files? Are these okay too?

.ogv is Ogg Theora, so shouldn't have any issues there
Hmm I just tried this and .ogv or .ogm don't seem to play. With the same code I am successfully playing .ogg files from an online source. The problem comes when I try to save a ogg file locally it is auto converted to an .ogv file (using either unity itself as a convertor or manually downloading an ogg from the internet.) Can anyone shed any light of this?
I also just tried srea$$anonymous$$g an ogv from an online source but this didn't play. I can't seem to find any .mov to .ogg converters which will do the job either. Anyone know any?
try rena$$anonymous$$g an .ovg file to .ogg? it could well be that it's a bug with the file parser checking file extensions

Using Unity itself to convert the quicktime movies to ogv then manually renaming the .ogv or .ogm to .ogg does the job nicelely.
Cheers.
