Guidelines for a top down racer
Hello.
I would like to attempt to create a top-down racer like Road Fighter but I am absolutely lost on how to do pretty much anything. I intend it to have two players and have the camera split when the distance between them gets past a threshold.
The question is: could you give me any guidelines/tell me how should I attempt to solve it?
So far, no game I made had scrolling - I've managed to get it to work following an example that uses a quad. A camera follows a player and it moves according to the speed the player is moving at. But by doing so, the scrolling speed in the quad can only be changed by one player.
