Best way to approach flight?
Hi there,
I'm trying to make a game where the player plays as a small ship, with 5 engines.
The trouble is, that the movement I'm envisioning might be a bit difficult.
I'm looking to have 4 downward engines for lift, and one pointing backwards for thrust.
So, the goals/rules of this ship would be:
Gravity does apply, and eventually air resistance will stop the craft
To corner, the player would need to tilt back and roll
The craft can stop and hang in midair
The speed of movement would depend on how much thrust is given to the back thruster
How would I best model this, by using AddForce? I also want to assume the craft is a Rigidbody so it can collide.
