Editing mesh and removing partial animations?
Hello, I am a beginner in this field. I downloaded an asset from the unity store and it provides an animated model. I was hoping to edit the mesh and remove the mouth and also any animation that comes attached to the bone/joint. The mesh and seperate animations all come in .fbx format.
I tried editing the mesh directly and removed the bone in 3ds max and exported the new mesh into Unity. In Unity I removed the joints in the Animations panel as well, but it resulted in a warped/disfigured mesh while playing the animation. (Guess it was a naive try.)
Might there be a solution to edit the mesh and joint, while still keeping the rest of the animations in tact? Thanks!
