8-bit, 16-bit graphics and animation in unity?
does anymone know how to go about making an 8bit style game with unity? is it even posible or do I need to look for something else for this type of game?

Of course it's possible.
Ultimately it's just a standard 2D-game with different textures applied. (You'll have to do the textures with a drawing-program; unity is not cut out to cover that for you.)
But of course you need to learn to script... have a look at the 2D-Tutorial on the homepage and use http://www.google.com/cse/home?cx=002470491425767499270:iugs1ezlsfq unity custom google search and you'll find all you need.
Good Luck :)
thx I will get started on some drafts and practice scripting more and definantly check out that tutorial once again thx :)
