Particles "avoid" view
Currently I am trying to make a smoke grenade effect, but whenever you walk into the smoke particles, they kind of disappear/"avoid" the camera view so that the cloud seems really thin when you walk through it.
How do I make it so the particles don't vanish whenever you walk through the smoke field?
Probably caused by “soft particle” for avoiding mesh pixel intersection. If you don’t want it, you can disable it in Quality settings. Or you may change the smoke material shader to those under the “mobile/particles/“ category.

This is probably caused by the Max Particle Size setting. It makes the particles become not too large at the screen when they fly in your face. This is mainly to avoid the possibly huge rendering cost of e.g. hundreds of particles, each filling your whole screen.
You can change it in the particle system's inspector in the "Renderer" section.
