Strange rendering - unsupported shader? -> Pink screen
Hi, we are making project in Unity and we have been reported with strange rendering problem.
Please see the image (http://cl.ly/0d1W0K22331H453N0X40) :
Unfortunately we can not reproduce this behavior on any of our machine.
I've tried all possible Graphical emulations Unity offers me in Edit/Graphics Emulation but with no luck - it all renders fine.
Does anyone have any idea what might be the cause of this problem?
It definitely seems to me like unsupported shader problem but I use mainly Unlit/Transparent shader and there are objects with this shader which are visible and others which are not.
Thanks in advance for any ideas or advices.
Martin
Get the specifications of the machine this is happening on and post them here - without knowing what hardware is causing the problem, it's extremely difficult to suggest a solution.
$$anonymous$$ost importantly, find out what their video card is and if they have the latest drivers installed.
Sorry for not specifying it. They sent us this link for the machine:
http://www.asus.com/Eee/EeeBox_PC/EeeBox_PC_EB1007/
then they say the machine has ATI Radeon HD 3450, which seems to me like contradiction but whatever.
I'll definitely tell them about updating to the latest drivers..
Oh, one of those. Yeah, I can see that being a problem.
I'm not sure what you mean? Are you referring to that strange EeeBox machine or what? I do not know these.
I know them. They're kind of $$anonymous$$imalist computers- really not what you'd expect any modern game to run on easily. I don't think it's reasonable to expect your game to run on everything- there are some things that are too much to ask.
