Question by Zebrakiller · Mar 29, 2014 at 12:26 AM · camerarotationcamera rotationmain

Camera rotation

I have my main camera places where I want it, however I can not get the rotation to work. I want it to be X15,Y-45,Z0, however, any time I input 15 it auto changes to 0.9988907

I have been following this lesson towards the bottom on camera settings

please elaborate on where you are entering the value. If you have set a public variable in the code for instance, it will move to the inspector and the inspector will override any changes you make to the default value in your code.

do you have any script attached to the camera? or any other script might have been changing that.

Sorry I am new how do you tell? Whck I click on camera on the right it just says Transform, Camera, GUILayer, Flare Layer, and Audio Listener. I have not changed anything other then the position and the Local rotation.

I have checked the tutorial, no scripting yet.

I would be starting again the tutorial from scratch. Just start a new project and see if it still happens.
