What do I use for a VAT number for Australia?

The Asset Store Payout form asked for a VAT number. I've done a number of web searches but cannot find a definitive answer as to what to put here as an Australian. Some links seem to suggest an ABN, others an ATN, others neither of the two.

Are there any other Australian traders on the Unity store that can let me know how to fill out this form? (I am registered as a Sole Trader with an ABN already, so if that's all I need to enter here, all the better!)

I added my ABN, however looking at the page again now I see the field is not listed as required. So I guess you could leave it blank.

Reading around, VAT is called GST in Australia.

If still unsure, I would contact your tax office. Or check their website http://www.ato.gov.au/Business/Bus/GST-for-small-business/?page=3#Who_must_register_
