Unity is cutting a SUBSTANTIAL amount off the end of my MP3 files.
I'm currently using an MP3 file that is exactly 2 minutes and 16 seconds. Unity claims this file is 1 minute and 51 seconds long. Predictably, Unity stops playing the music a good 20-25 seconds before it's over. I can verify that the file itself is not the problem as it runs its full course properly in a music player.
I've tried changing every single compression setting and moving the compression slider around and reimporting, but no matter what I do a significant portion of the end of my MP3 is cut off. I have never heard of this happening before; we've all heard about "pops" when trying to loop, but I have never heard of Unity deciding it is going to cut over 20 seconds off the end of a music file.
Using Unity 4.6.
Anyone know what's going on?
Can you post a copy of the code your using to play the audio file??
Without code all I could suggest is either converting your audio to OGG and see if that helps... otherwise it could be the code.
