Gapless looping on iOS
Greetings!
I have imported a WAV into Unity (PC) and the Audio Importer won't let me click "hardware decoding" or "gapless looping", even when I set it to compression. Are these parameters only available for preview on iOS devices? I have also created a seamlessly looping mp3 but the mp3 only imports 1:43 out of 2:00. Strange :)
I also have this problem. Another answer here says to use WAV files - which I've tried and still the problem persists. I am interested in hearing why these options are disabled...

Hardware decoding is for mp3 compressed audio. Gapless looping can be ticked when you have a wav file and you change the audio format to Compressed (MPEG). Unity will then compress the WAV into an MP3 file and make the clip the correct length to loop without popping.
Why is there no "Compressed ($$anonymous$$PEG)" in my dropdown on Unity 3.5f5 only "Native (WAV)" and "Compressed (OGGVORBIS)" sometimes - this is when it does this even though the files are indeed wavs?
