Does Unity Support 3ds Max's Cloth Function?
I'm having trouble baking my cloth animation for Unity.
http://www.mediafire.com/download/n9g5ktgilwgh5em/flag.max sorry for the mediafire link - cant upload the file to unity answers.
There is a simple cloth animation attached to the flag. I've baked the animation and exported it into unity but unity does not read an animation.
How did you exported the baked data? Unity can read deformations produced from Skeleton, i don't think Unity can read baked geometry data. You shoud check some Plugin from the AssetStore for reading baked data...

i dont believe unity supports it, i think you need to use bones to animate the cloth shape. you could also try baking the animation, that might work. having said that, im only learning unity at the moment so dont take my word as gospel. having said that, i believe unity has its own cloth simulator under component>physics ;)
