ten 1-second audio clips vs. one 10-second audio clip in terms of Web Player build size
My game has a lot of different laser sounds. Each is 1/2 second or 1/4 second long. I want to keep the web player file size very small. Do ten 1-second audio clips "build" to the same size as one 10-second audio clip? Or do the ten small clips lead to a larger "build" size because they're separate assets?

The overhead associated with an individual asset is pretty small. The work associated with having one clip and playing separate sections from it is probably not worth the effort.
The key thing is to just make sure that your audio is compressed to a low bitrate with the import settings, and I'd suggest making sure they're set to mono.
