Make game start looking nice
Well, my game has a lot of things about programming, modeling and animation, and is quite good and in my perspective awesome, but now I would like to start making it look nice and I know almost all about it(render, substances, shaders, lights, light probes, lightmapping, etc.) but the first problem is that I dont know which of these would help me to do what I want and second I don't know how these works. So, The question here is which of these would help to make something nice and also maybe not telling but give me a link so I could learn more about it. Thanks, I appreciate it :D
I don't have any idea, what you mean when you say 'nice', or how your game looks right now, so there is not much that I (or anyone else) can say to help you...
It would help if you showed us some screenshots of your game and told us what exactly you want ti change.
Not sure if I need to put some screenshots, just wanna, well I will say it exaclty: make shadows, lightmapping(what actualy I don't know what does it do),make the texture look better, things like that. Also, to make it easier, I have all models some lights and the game, so the grafics are not that good so I want to make it look good.(sorry if is hard to understand, I dont speak english :S)
Just a sidenote: You said you want shadows. Do you have purchased the pro version? Because realtime shadows are a pro-only feature.
Beside that i fully agree with Piflik. "Nice" is always subjective.
Btw: a lot people here (including myself) are not native english speaking, but as long as you can describe your problem it's ok ;) However in this case i'm afraid that there's no clear answer to your question. Anyway, T27$$anonymous$$'s answer is a good guideline.
@Piflik: It seems the link in your profile to your blog is broken ;)

Alot is documented in the User Manual, sometimes you do have to dig for it.
Heres a bit to get you started ..
