Searching GameObject with in 5 feet

Question

Hi friends. can any one tell me how to search a game object with in 5 feet using c# , Please help me.

Script Reference : "Distance"
Unity units are in meters by what the Doc's say, so if it measures like that with the distance function then approx 1.5 unity units would be about 5 feet away.
