Compilation failed because the compiler couldn't be executed.

So my projects have started having the above error from out of nowhere. I've tried reinstalling Unity, reimporting, deleting the Library, even creating a new project from scratch and the error is still there. Please help..

If it helps, the last thing I remember doing before this happened was simply editing a script (using Visual Studio).
