Problem building for web
I am having a problem exporting my game into web player. The export goes well but when I click on the link to play my player does not move at all. Everything else goes as normal and the player does still move within Unity. Can anyone help?
You're going to need to provide a lot more information about what is and isn't happening.
I'm doing a space shooter and the spaceship is used as the player. Everything works fine within Unity, but when I export the game to Web Player and open the html to play, my spaceship player does not respond. It simply sits in place and does not make any movements no matter which keys I use. All other functions still work, shooting, asteroids spawning, etc.
Did you click on the game to make it active? If you have RunInBackground disabled, you need to make the web player appears front. Seeing the game does not mean it is on the front, it may be visually front but a background process to Windows.
What keys do you use for movement? $$anonymous$$aybe you could post the code where you check for input on those keys?
