Applications are expected to have a root view controller at the end of application launch
I'm having an issue with Unity 3.5b. When I build the project for xcode, then compile and run in xcode, it seems to run, but the iPhone's screen is black and xcode outputs "Applications are expected to have a root view controller at the end of application launch". This happens with both empty scenes and my main scene. Other projects do work. My guess is that something that is editing unity's xcode project is at fault, so it's possible that one of the plugins I am using is causing the problem. I'm using Prime31's etcetera, game center, iAd and store kit plugins.

Remove the AppControllerPushAdditions file to get things working with the preview. We will have an official update when 3.5 is actually released.

Same situation here... tracked it to the etcetera plugin and I'm going to submit a bug via the site, I'll post any info I get back :)
Whew. Thanks. I was pretty sure it was one of the Prime31 plugins, so I started trying to strip them out to see which one it was, but etcetera was the last one I planned to remove. Hopefully he figures it out and fixes it soon. Thanks!
