Creating a preset class that can be assigned in the inspector
I would like to create a class that can be assigned to multiple scripts of multiple game objects. E.g. like Unity's GUILayout, where one layout can be assigned to an arbitrary amount of GUI elements.
Is it possible to create such presets that can be assigned to a script, without the need to create a GameObject to hold the preset?
E.g. an editor extensions to create/edit/store such assignable presets?
