Can you work on a unmonetized project as a team while using the free version of Unity?
We're planning a team project and we're not sure which engine to use.
We don't want to sell the game or monetize it in any way.
I'm worried there's going licensing issues. Are we going to have to pay for a team license with Unity version 5.5.0 even if we don't want to profit from the game?

According to this link as long as your funding is less than $100,000 a year you are fine to use personal edition. It does mention something about the pro edition having a 'team license' but that might just be an optional feature for teams.
