converting pc to mac

Question

So im buying a macbook soon and I have a project I have been working on for just under a year, and i was wondering if the PC Project can be transfered over to a Mac Project successfully. I dont care by what means at this moment, but This is possible, right?

Just copy the project and open it on Mac, and it will work
