revert all prefabs to default?
Hi there, I have a big problem.
in all the levels of the game (50 levels), the pause menu prefab's text doesn't have a material anymore and uses some default material.
I fixed that in level one by dragging in the real material and overwrote the prefab, but on levels 2-50, it's still using the old material even as the paste menu prefab in the hierarchy is blue :/
How can I apply these changes I made to the pause menu in level 1 to all the pause menus in the other levels without having to open each level and do it manually?
edit: hm… might be because the pause menu is a sub-prefab of another prefab which i altered in each level.
still, is there a way to replace that material in each level? :/

Hey,
Make sure that you replaced the material in the prefab in the inspector, not in the scene view!!!!!!
If you change the one in the scene, it will not update the main prefab that the rest of the pause menus are using!!!!!

unfortunately, i can't set it in the project pane because i don't have access to this prefab level.

so i can't access for example pause$$anonymous$$enuBest and edit the texture :/
Yes ok, I see now, I ran Ito this problem myself.... What you have to do, is change the texture in the prefab in your scene view, and then drag that prefab back from your scene over the top of your current prefab in your project!!!!!! This will then update the values!
thanks, i'm saved. I did tried that before but I guess i've done something wrong^^ now it works.
