Unity 4.1.5 failed to install
I have a mac and I am trying to download 4.1.5. I have more then enough room and checked everything. It starts, and when it gets the error it says The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufactures for assistance. How do I fix this? Is anyone else getting this problem?
Did you download it entirely ? Is the download the problem or the installation ?
If it is the installation, did you try to contact the software manufactures ?
There appears to be some problems with the caching system we use. That's being looked into. Chances are you'll need to re-download the installer, but perhaps wait a few hours to give Unity a chance to figure out what's wrong.
(Which is a bit ironic given the fact that 4.1.5 is meant to fix an installer problem with 4.1.4).
There is some problem with the checksum on .dmg file ($$anonymous$$ac disk image)
