Can't load monodevelop?!
Hello everyone.
I have a problem. I am using a Macbook pro. I have the unity 4.3. I am trying to simply create a javascript and edit it using mono develop. When I click on the the javascript to open it. For some strange reason it loads it using Safari? And when I try to change the program it greys out the mono-develop meaning I can't use it. Can anyone help me?
It would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

Figured it out by accident. If you right click and choose "Open With" then, click "Other" look through the applications. My problem was that the monodevelop was 'greyed' out, however there is drop down menu, it says 'Enable' by default it is set to recommended apps, these are options that only show apps that the mac thinks you can use to open it, so you have to change it to "all applications" this allows you to select any app, which must be "monodevelop".
Thank you "questionasker" for responding so quickly, hopefully this helps someone out there.

I have literally no idea what's wrong BUT whenever mono gives me issues, i end the process in the task manager, because it seems to run sometimes even after its closes. Good luck...
