Joypad help

Hi there,

Im at the end of my tether trying to get a touch pad in my game im into my second week of java scripting so im no pro.

Ive been reading all sorts of tutorials and even this forum for help implementing a touchpad to my game for andriod devices. All i need is up down left and right and 2 buttons. Cant belive i cant figure it out, but i think once i do, ill pickup things much faster as ive learned other types of code and been making games and flash animating as long as i can remember.

I dont understand the help reference when it starts talking about mobile devices :( So does anyone know a really, really, really for dummies type tutorial or point me in the direction of a script thats actually going to work when i try it...

I really really really want to get unity down, its the best program i have ever used... i beg of you... <3

While I don't have any 'Touch' devices , I havn't explored this area. But I did a quick search for you, hopefully one of these links has some info to get you started :
