Edge crossing detection
Continuing my mesh questions, is there any way to detect if an edge (what links to verts, not a face) is crossed by another cubes. I suppose I could do this by calculating it from all the cubes positions, but I would ideally prefer a quicker way.
When you say "another cubes" do you mean an entirely different object/mesh, or of the same mesh?
when you ask questions continuing from others, link them to enable others to read those others or describe the problem completely to make the question as useful as possible for everyone. thank you very much.
The questions are not really linked, just all on the same topic (meshes) so people will only want one. @vandreewm, I mean another (entirely different) object.

You can use a line cast being made between connecting verts. This allows for info on the other object if needed.
Hope this helps!

Tidied your answer up a bit. I think your solution will not work, but I'll give it a try.
