Best way of creating unique abilities with scriptableObjects,How would I go and create many unique abilities for my character with ScriptableObjects?
Currently, all of my abilities are scriptableObjects, with values that come with it such as cooldown, cost, name, etc. The problem is that I want these abilities to hold a unique effect (such as a knockback or burn effect). I was thinking of putting all the ability effects in 1 cscript and accessing whichever ability ID the scriptableObject held using enum slots on cast. Although this would work, I don't know if this is the best way of handling the problem. Is there better ways you guys can solve this problem?
