Question by opscopez · Jul 15, 2014 at 09:04 PM · meshblenderfbxblender-exporting

Why are there little white dots in my mesh?

I'm building an FPS in Unity and I've imported a model that I exported as an FBX from Blender (let that sink in).

However, when I run my game, there appears these little dots in the mesh. I'm not sure what's causing them. The whole mesh is a standard cube, really; I just needed it for testing purposes.

Here's a picture; you'll need to look a bit: annoyin' dots

Is that the scene view, or the game view? Scene view sometimes renders a bunch of extra "gizmos" (icons indicating the location of audio sources, for example).

No, it's in-game view. 100%.

Apparently, my camera was directly in the center of the capsule. It was invisible, but there were some bits that you could see. This was the point where the rounded end meets the cylinder end. It was that edge that was constantly visible.
