questions about character controller
Im thinking about using character controller for my character object in a 3d platformer-fps hybrid like mario 64 with doom, but I have some questions:
do I need to have rigidbody component on my object even if it has character controller?
can a character controller object interact well with other objects that have rigidbody like moving platforms, cannon balls etc?
is character controller only supposed to be used with characters controlled by the player? Or is it used on npcs, enemies controlled by "AI"?
can it be used on hazardous objects like a floating fireball, shots, things like that?
