Car Wheel transform facing and rotating wrong direction
Hi! I am new to unity and this is my first project, and i have this issue where my wheel transforms are facing the ground, this is the only issue i have. The wheel collider works (as you can see on the img) and the car can move and steer.
What can be the problem?
i appreciate all answers, btw sorry for my bad english, i still learning
I wonder why would you need to permanently update the local transform of your wheels to their global transform ? (I may miss something but it makes no sense for me atm)
I also assume your both methods UpdateWeelPose & UpdateWeelPoses are pointless because they just modify local variables without anything else.
Can't you just set their appropriate rotation in the edit mode and attach these to the vehicule ?

Are the local transform axis on the wheels set correctly? Seems like their forward direction is pointing upwards.
I also face this problem. How do you set their forward direction? I already aligned the wheels to their colliders, but everytime I start the game all the wheels turned back to like the one OP posted. I'm also fairly new to unity and I'm still getting the hang of it
