Enemy AI script

I have a rigged character and several animations that I plan to use as an enemy. The rouble Im having is finding a script that will make the character act as an enemy.

I have found one script that works without the animations but when the enemy targets the player, the enemy flies around the player continuously.

If anyone can help I would really appreciate it.
