how can I create a button to play an animation loop on a rigged 3d character and have buttons on the scene to choose to play another animation on the character?
Hi I am looking to make a scene with a background and character.
I wish to have a button saying kick and another saying punch, the player clicks on either and the player is shown the character performing a kick with more buttons to choose on the gui canvas showing different kicks if player clicks on them for the same scene. How can I do this?
Thanks for any help
with a canvas with those buttons, preferably within separate empty gameobjects for enabling/disabling them. one script on the root with all the methods needed for the buttons and a reference to an animator on which the methods set necessary bools or floats or whatever necessary for the animator to transition. and of course the animator setup so it can play all different animations and transition between them based on those values.

hexagonius thanks for the reply, I think I'll just try something a bit simpler to suit my coding experience lol and build up to this later :D
