Unable to download standard assets after upgrade, computer restarts half way thru

Just upgraded my Gigabyte game machine to Windows 10. Downloaded Unity personal edition, which opens ok without any assets but when downloading standard assets file or example assets file, the computer abruptly restarts about halfway thru the download. What could be the problem?
