Lighting Works On One Computer But Not The Other.
I have Unity 4 Pro installed on both my PC and my Macbook Pro. Both versions are functional but my PC is having major lighting problems. The PC will not use real time shadows and will not illuminate spaces the way they should. I get little patches of light around the source, but it’s barely doing anything.
But here’s the weird part. If I CREATE a project on my laptop and transfer the whole project folder to the PC, the lighting is totally functional. If I transfer it back to my laptop, the lighting is broken again.
Unity and drivers fully up to date on both computers. I’ve exported my FBX models on both computers and tried them in Unity on both computers, no difference. Tried using deferred and forward lighting, no improvement. I’ve reinstalled Unity and even reformatted my PC. No results.
If i'm not wrong, two lights in two pictures you posted has different amount of range and intensity, this may caused the problem
I thought the same thing, but toying with those 2 values didn't fix anything.
look at the quality settings, try and see if shadows are enabled

also you need to be weary of what graphics cards you are using. Specific shaders, shadow types, ect are only compatible with certain graphics cards
But why then does it work if I transfer it over from my laptop?
your graphics card may be adjusting the settings in unity for the graphics card on the PC and the $$anonymous$$AC may not be automatically resetting the settings when you reimport it to the $$anonymous$$ac.
