Store project on a NAS - "Store the folder somewhere readable and writeable"

I recently got a NAS and am starting my Unity journey. I'm fairly tech-savvy and want the option to be able to work on a project from multiple devices and multiple places, so am looking to store my unity projects on my NAS to make that process trouble-free; but alas, trouble. If I try to create a project on the NAS it will tell me to "move the folder to somewhere readable and writeable". I've tried launching unity in administrator to no avail, but after that finding any possible solutions to a problem like this gets harder.

Any help in getting this setup would be fantastic
